Scott PfahlerDr. Scott M. Pfahler
Dr. Pfahler earned his medical degree at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003.  He then completed an internship at University Hospitals Health System—Richmond Hts. Hospital.  Following this, he completed ophthalmology training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, serving as chief resident.  His research interests include vitreous proteomics, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.  He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology. John ChoiDr. John Y. Choi
Dr. Choi earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University. He is completing his vitreoretinal fellowship at NRI and has accepted a position with Retina and Macula Specialists based in Tacoma, Washington to begin after graduation in June 2009. Dr. Choi is board certified in ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons. Joshua SteinerDr. Joshua N. Steiner
Dr. Joshua N. Steiner attended medical school at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI.  He completed his internship at Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the Friedenwald Eye Institute at Maryland General Hospital. He is currently completing his vitreoretinal fellowship at the Bert. M Glaser National Retina Institute located in Towson, MD.  He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology. Blonie DudneyDr. Blonie W. Dudney
Dr. Dudney came to NRI in July 2008.  A graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, he completed a medical surgical internship in Ft Worth, Texas.  He went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas – Southwestern Medical Center / Parkland Hospital before beginning his vitreoretinal fellowship at NRI.  He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the American Medical Association.
