Our Heidelberg Spectralis HRA & OCT are used for digital Fluorescein and Indocyanine Green Angiography and Optical Coherence Tomography. The Heidelberg Spectralis combines the simultaneous retinal imaging and spectral-domain tomography to create the highest quality of images with the certainty of knowing the location of the pathology. The Eye Tracking capabilities of the equipment enable our doctors to produce a progression of images of the exact same retinal location over time.  This allows our doctors to confidently detect small changes in the retina that might be missed without the use of the Heidelberg Spectralis.

Our Nidek Microperimeter is able to measure the sensitivity of different spots on the retina. We can find the position, shape, and size of the smallest blind spots or areas of reduced vision. We are also able to match future visits to previous exams and measure the sensitivity of the exact same areas of the retina. Our tests are customized to each individual and their specific needs. The results of the Microperimeter can be used to find the areas of retina with the highest sensitivity for Vision Rehabilitation and reinforce vision training with fixation therapy and biofeedback.

Our Zeiss FF-3 outfitted with an Escalon Digital Camera provides our practice with high resolution color images of the retina for documentation and research.

Our Zeiss Stratus OCT provides high resolution optical coherence tomography for research purposes.
